Powered Up and Painting goes on

We made the switch from our temporary power pole to our permanent meter base and house distribution system.   As most things with our build, this is over-designed and overkill, but we should never have any power issues on the hill with a 400amp service and in the future can easily add solar, wind or a hydrogen generator.

Painting continues on the interior and we are approaching 60 days until completion of everything!

Some cabinets and paint

Interior painting has started.   Our cabinets in the kitchen and master bath are full custom unfinished and were installed and then painted by the painting crew.  From there they are moving on to paint the ceilings, walls, trim and doors.   Going to be a few weeks worth of painting on the inside to complete.

Casita Steps

We have been waiting patiently for steps on the Casita.   It has been one of those areas that just kept getting pushed off as nobody wanted to do tackle the task.   As anticipated the small job created a lot of work, but the steps and porch deck are now done.

Other work continued around the house and we are on target for painting to start inside this week.

Fire and Water

Mason's finished all the stone work this week by completing the inside work of the fireplace and foyer stone columns.    The pool installers have been hard at work forming re-bar and prepping the hole for the pool.
