Insulation, Drywall, Stone and Pool!

Lots of activity at the build site this week.   Insulation was finalized and the drywall went up.   A crew of several guys put all the sheet rock up in two days.   Masons continue to install stone and are around all sides of the house with the stone work.   Back porch timbers were set and expect it to be finished out within the next week.

They started digging the pool and got about 3 feet excavated before hitting solid rock.   Digging will continue with more equipment this week.

Mason's have started and insulation continues

The Mason's finally started to add the exterior stone to the outside of the house.  Painters and roofers finished all but a few areas despite the challenges with weather this week.   The interior continues to be sprayed with foam insulation.  

Insulation has started

We are insulating the home with open cell spray foam on all exterior walls and interior 2nd story floors.   Interior walls will all be filled with fiberglass batt insulation for sound proofing.   Today was the start of what should be about a four day process to complete.  

Got Rock

Sheet rock was delivered during the week along with another load of outside stone.    Mechanical and framing additions and corrections were underway for the past week.   We hit a few normal snags to delay things, but are now back on track.   Insulation to start this week along with finishing the roof, weather permitting.
